The Outdoors and Me
Healey
NaBloPoMo Theme of the Day: Do you prefer to be outdoors or indoors?
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The outdoors is an amazing, awe inspiring, fantastical place.
That said - I can't stay out there too long.
There are bugs.
And Bot flies.
And bats that want to change my hairdo.
And squishy land surfaces that might come in contact with my toes (SCREAM!).
So yeah, ... indoors is really the place for me. Preferrably somewhere I can SEE the outdoors... like from the penthouse at the Waldorf Astoria.
I have written previously about some of my forays into nature. You may remember some of my greatest Nature hits like:
And I don't want to hear any shit from you people who will immediately say "but Healey you worked at Discovery Channel!" Blah blah blah.
They are not all children of Woodstock over there. Not everyone goes around looking to sleep in a bloody tree with a turd throwing orangutan. Most of the people I know from there have been locked in edit bays for YEARS. They never see sunlight.
No lie.
... and they're fine.
