A long-running personal blog shared by two authors with completely different approaches to life. And a lot of large, beautiful photographs of dogs and nature and places we've traveled to. Rich in commentary and irreverant in style.

We started blogging a long time ago. Our work hours never aligned with recommended psychotherapists and we needed to get our thoughts out. We are great friends, total opposites and long-time housemates. This was a way to communicate. With each other. With strangers. With consumer marketers. With sub-par meteorologists. With distant friends who wanted to see pictures of stuff we were up to.

This is the place. Our bucket of thoughts to share. You are welcome.
(We realize that most of you are here for the dog pictures.)

A Bladder Matter

Today has had it's complications. I woke up with 3 house guests at the inn. There was also a canine overnight guest. Named "Trouble." Trouble humped Buford for 14 hours straight. To the point where Buford stopped noticing he had a jockey riding him in and out of every room. Like the way girls wear a barrette in their hair.

After everyone left [I napped like the dead and then] I got Buford into the Jeep to go to the Dog Park. I figured he should expend some energy so I could remain motionless during the Super Bowl. As I was pulling away from the house Buford tried to sit in his favorite spot. Which is my spot. The drivers spot. With the steering wheel. It's not the best spot for controlled driving. So I went to move him ...and he peed on me. Yep. Right there in the car. I sat at the stop sign looking down at my lap thinking "Omg it looks like I peed. BUT NO. I DIDN'T. THAT'S NOT MY PEE." So disgusting. All baby-type-things make disgusting situations that you don't expect.

If you'll note the NaBloPoMo badge on the right sidebar you will understand why I am now all of a sudden posting every day. Tomorrow I actually get a "theme" to write about. Very exciting. Weekends are free topic days. Learn more about NaBloPoMo here.
