A long-running personal blog shared by two authors with completely different approaches to life. And a lot of large, beautiful photographs of dogs and nature and places we've traveled to. Rich in commentary and irreverant in style.

Blog

We started blogging a long time ago. Our work hours never aligned with recommended psychotherapists and we needed to get our thoughts out. We are great friends, total opposites and long-time housemates. This was a way to communicate. With each other. With strangers. With consumer marketers. With sub-par meteorologists. With distant friends who wanted to see pictures of stuff we were up to.

This is the place. Our bucket of thoughts to share. You are welcome.
(We realize that most of you are here for the dog pictures.)

Bad Spam Attempt

Yenny

Everyday I wonder how people get suckered by bad spam messages (NOTE: my parents have been one of these suckers, so I don’t have to wonder too hard), but today I found this gem:

The Verisign logo was linked to:  https://www.paypalobjects.com/WEBSCR-640-20110306-1/en_US/i/logo/logo_VIPwhite_66x27.gif (wrong version of the current logo by the way for those paying attention and if you aren't, now you know.)

It looks legit enough, but have people not learned the "don’t download strange documents" or "don’t click on random links" lesson yet?  I’m going to guess no or else I would not still be getting these messages.

Reminder: Don’t click on links from emails that sound suspicious. Go to their website on your own in a new browser window.  You’re welcome and that’ll be $49.95.
