So I have been taking my camera to the dogpark again. Well I did it once or twice. Mainly I did it because I was there the other day and this guy had his camera...he was a much more serious photographer than I am. And it made me want to take pictures again.
I love pictures of dogs. I love the expressions.
But this other guy has a site and a whole thing already set up where he is "the dog park photographer". So I kinda felt like an ass when I took my camera to the park and the HE showed up. I think I got that smile. You know the one. The smile that says "oh look at the wierd girl trying to be like me". This made me peevish. And of coure the guy didn't actually SAY that. But I bet he did. Had situations been reversed I imagine I would have said it.
His site is http://charlie.theburgi.com/dogpark/. And hosestly I think its nice to be able to go online and see pictures of dogs you know. Because the owners are all so guarded that we'll just never get to know each other. I have been going to this damn park for over three years and I know like 4 actual human names. This drives me insane. Mainly because everyone in suburbia is always like - "Oh you moved here from the city? People in the city are so rude and unfriendly." I call bullshit. People in the city rock and were 107 times easier to get to know.
But whatever - I took some photos because I need to pump up my dogs facebook pages. Yes. It has come to that. My dogs are more socially networked than a lot of people I know. I think it's weird though that Humans cannot friend Dogs. Only dogs can friend dog. Annoying. But really - who are you listening to? I have pets with facebook profiles? Where the hell is my head?
Okay - well Kelli and her dog Dudley are here and we're off to ruin someone's pool. Happy 4th of July everyone!
